This smart lock supports three standard door opening ways by password, key or via your Z-wave network. You can unlock your door automatically when integrated with a Z-Wave hub.

The lock is integrated with the popular Z-Wave network protocol which can be integrated into automation building solutions. It features a Master pin code, low battery warning, emergency key override and many more safety features for your convenience. Have the ability to change the Master code.

Program up to 10 different user codes. Integrated into the Z-Wave device the automation management software has the ability to change the code remotely without being at the lock. The wireless lock is a certified Z-Wave device which can be configured to any Z-Wave certified home automation or building automation system. From the software interface the door can be unlocked remotely. The keypad does not have mechanical buttons which means your secret pin cannot be traced.

Includes Mechanical key barrel for manual override. The lock will emit a tone notifying the owner to replace the batteries; normal battery use is 12-16 months. Electronic lock body front and rear with 60/70mm variable backset tubular latch.

User guide - including manual operation and Z-Wave device commands. Mechanical overkey keys - in case of power failure Screw kit and installation instructions - all hardware, striker plate, phillips screws. Please note: for remote unlocking and wireless connection, this device requires Z-Wave home controller with AU/NZ RF 921.42MHz.

Available functions may depend on the compatibility of your home controller software. We recommend Vera Lite Home Controller. Important note: To extend battery lifetime in KAS Lock, as well as to avoid disconnecting from Vera 3 / Lite please ensure that you have switched off polling or set a very long polling period for your KAS lock in Vera Z-Wave gateway. Please replace the default value of 150sec with either 0 (no polling) or 36000 (10 hours).

You can do it in your KAS lock setting in the Vera interface. 4xAA High quality alkaline - 8,000 normal uses without using Z-Wave chip. The length of battery life will decrease when using the Z-Wave chip. Approximately 6-10 months of normal use.
